With the manufacturing base of this country gone and reflection and creativity long since in full retreat from modernity, these three things—medical, financial, and retail—are the entirety of our culture and way of life.
Moving money around.
Taking money from people.
Trying to keep them from dying.
Ugh. It’s really quite dismal.
