So people are wondering about the disconnect between recent rapid economic growth (mostly in the market, 8.2% is it?) and the continued loss of jobs (2.3 million of them). For some reason, people continue to feel as though both numbers can’t be true. I don’t understand this hesitation. We’ve seen it before. It’s called “the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. It’s called capital.
